...ye gods. This is where all my time went, isn't it?

I feel like writing something short and quick, while I'm in-between doing things at work and need a brain refresh.

So, comment drabbles? I like the last drabble thing I did, so I wanna do that again:

1) Pick one of my fics or drabbles, or any other project you happen to know I am/was doing.

2) Request a future or past scene set in that fic-verse with any characters you want.

3) Wait for me to write 500(+/-) words of said scene.

Thagirion 2 is now up to 9000 words (21 pages, according to my comp), and is only two scenes away from being done. With any luck, I should have it done this week or next (my life is either hectic or boring, and I think I've got a hectic week coming up, so I can't promise this week).

But it's so close!

Thagirion 2 is over the 8000 word mark!

My guess is - and giant caveat; I'm usually off - is that it should finish up at around 10,000-11,000 words. Because I'm wordy. XD;; As it is, I'm having to do exposition dumps like whoa. Ararara...

My trip to Korea was wonderful! Spicy food galore, the Teddy Bear Museum is AWESOMESAUCE, and I got to see one of my really good friends (lol, who is still trying to convince me to move to Seoul, and one of her friends I met when I went jumped on that bandwagon. Ararara. >XD)

I needed the rest, I really did. And now, to enjoy the rest of Golden Week! (and to write - I wrote a couple pages of Thagiron 2 tonight and did some rearranging of sections. It should hit between 20-25 pages, and is at 15 now. W00t!)

Hi, I live. Just...ugh, busy. :(

I haven't been able to get much writing done, thanks to my hand not completely healing. It's hard for me to type for long stretches at a time, so I have to save my typing for work, since, yeah, jou's gotta eat. Likewise, this is the busy time of year for me (overtime every day, whee~), and I'm currently being tested for a rare collagen disorder (which, if I have it, would be part of why the tendon in my hand is so slow to heal), so lots of days off work going to hospitals and the like. Plus, I'm studying Korean now, which also eats into my small bit of free time. And the winter "I hate everythings" where pretty bad this year, thanks to multiple injuries - I pretty much spent the last three months in a state of constant pain, which made it hard to do much of anything.

On the plus side, though, spring is finally coming, and I'm planning to get an iPad soon, which means more portable computing (I love my laptop, but it's too big to just toss in my purse, and I love my smartphone, but trying to type on it makes me crazy), so hopefully days I decide to hit a coffee shop after work, or when I'm commuting, I can get some writing done (I'm going to get a keyboard case to go with it, >XD ).

Right now, I'm back to writing a bit of Thagirion, trying to get myself back into the writing habit. It's...slow going and I feel so out of practice. ;_;

So no, I haven't forgotten or abandoned anything, I've just been having a pretty rough time of it lately.

My hand is healing slowly. I haven't been able to do much writing, since my hand still isn't up to par. But I have been starting up a bit, even though it's frustrating to only be able to write a page or so before my hand craps out. :(

The doc has not said how long my arm is going to be splinted and doing a mummy impression, but my guess is, at least a month (it's been a week and a half so far.) :(

Once I can type again, I'm going to get back to work on Thagirion and Harrow Children. ^^;;

I started poking around on some older fic today, since I figured a Thagirion break might be good. So I worked a bit on the next chapter of Harrow Children and on some of A Hope in Hell.

...Part 3 of Harrow Children is already twenty-nine pages long. But the beginning only has 5 pages before it starts fragmenting into incomplete scenes and thumbnail sketches. The the combined last two parts of A Hope in Hell are 30 pages.

Why can I never write anything short? *sob*
